1954 – Ogden, Utah
The Fifth reunion was held on June 12, 13, 1954 in Ogden, Utah. This event also featured a banquet on Saturday evening followed by a program. On Sunday a picnic was enjoyed in Lorin Farr Park. One of the highlights of this reunion was the costumed presentation of members of the William Cazier family dressed in authentic costumes dating back to the 1800’s. The reunion was organized by President Charlotte Cazier Wickham, Vice President Inez Cazier Farr, and Historian-Secretary Helen Cazier Norton. Before Cousin James Edward Cazier left to return home to Illinois, he was taken to Nephi where he was thrilled to see the grave of his great-grandfather William Cazier. He noticed that the headstone of William was getting rather dim so he started a fund to purchase a new headstone for William. There were about 160 in attendance.
