Abraham Cazier, Stark County

Last Will and Testament 22 January 1845

In the name of the benevolent Father of all, I Abraham Cazier of Stark County, do make and publish this my last will and testament. First it is my will that my funeral expenses and all my just debts be fully paid. Second, I give, devise and bequeath to my beloved wife, Susanna Cazier, in care of her dower one third of my estate real and personal during her natural life and all the household goods, furnishings, provisions, for one year after my decease and one Cen at the death of my said wife the real estate aforesaid and such part of the said personal property as my then remain unconsumed and unexpended I give and devise to my son Abraham Cazier Jr. together with two thirds of my real and personal estate after paying five dollars for the used of my other heirs which said sum is to be equally divided as follows.

The sum of one dollar to be paid to my daughter Elizabeth intermarried with Phillip Griffit, the sum of one dollar to be lawful heirs of my son William Cazier deceased. The sum of one dollar to my daughter Mary that was intermarried with Samuel Miller. The sum of one dollar to my daughter Susanna intermarried with Thomas Boyles, the sum of one dollar to my son Thomas Cazier or his heirs, the sums aforesaid is to be paid by my son Abraham Cazier Jr. aforesaid or be caused to be paid for the several heirs aforesaid out of his legacy aforesaid. Lastly, I do hereby nominate and appoint Daniel MaKinney Executor of this my last will and testament.

In testimony whereof I do hereafter set my hand and seal this 22 day of January 1845, signed and acknowledge by said Abraham Cazier as his last will and testament in our presents and signed by us in his presents.

Russell Cazier (married Ruth Dickson) born March 2, 1896 and died in 1966, Her grandfather is William Cazier (married Elva Hixson), born May 14, 1847 in Dekalb, Indiana (his wife Elva died and he married Malvern, he then moved to Shawnee County, Wakorusa, KS in the spring of 1884). Her great grandfather is Murray Cazier (married Sarah Calhoun) born February 6, 1819 in Stark County, Ohio, Her great-great grandfather is William Cazier, born in 1795 (married Susanna Murray born December 25, 1795 is Harrisburg, PA) they were married Oct 24, 1811 in Stark County, Ohio.
