The Twenty Ninth annual Cazier reunion was held in the West Yellowstone Convention Center, in West Yellowstone, Montana, July .7, 8, 1978. The organization Secretary, Delbert and his wife Mable have been called by the church to a special assignment in South America. They will be opening the Chilean Mission. They will be living in Quito, Ecuador for the next 18 months. Fern Rutledge announced that she will not be able to take the trip to France in quest of French Cazier ancestors as planned. Helen Cazier Norton reported that a headstone has been erected in the Ogden City Cemetery for Olive Lucy Shaw, first wife of Benjamin Cazier Sr. Don L. Cazier has taken some great pictures in and around Brownsboro, Oldham Co., Kentucky, birth place of the last seven children of William Cazier. He also took pictures of the Isaac Smith home built in 1809. Isaac Smith was the landlord to William when he lived there. Byron Palmer was released as secretary and Gail A. Cazier, from Rexburg, was sustained. All the Western Caziers have been invited, by Jay Cazier, to attend a reunion near Windsor, Illinois next year in August. There was no attendance count recorded.
