1972 – Three Forks, Montana

The Twenty Third annual Cazier reunion was held July 8, 9, 1972 in Three Forks, Montana, hosted by Legrand and Ann Cazier. President Ivan Cazier welcomed the group and announced that Legrand Cazier had been appointed vice president and chairman for this year. AI Cazier, Brigham City, was elected President for the next two years, Delbert and Byron Palmer were elected Secretary/Treasurer. Edwin Cazier was retained as Historian and Fern Rutledge was retained as Genealogist. Ivan Cazier was appointed to be chairman of the Cazier Family Book Committee charged with the responsibility of publishing a book with histories, pictures and genealogical data on all the Cazier families back to William Cazier and Pleasant Drake. Fern introduced Ron and Ruby Cazier from Ypsilanti, Michigan. They may be some of John descendants. Fern urged all family members to send their family group sheets to her in Provo. Asael E. Palmer, Maydell Cazier Palmer, Charlotte Wickham, and Charles B. Cazier were recognized for their years of service to the reunions. Wayne Ragland was appointed vice president for next years reunion in Park City, Utah. There were about 68 in attendance.
